For those 2022 owners that have been having any sort of ongoing UConnect 5 issues, there is a new OTA software update (S26.17) to replace S24.13/S24.18 software versions, launching on 11/25/22 that will probably address many issues that we have been having. It is for Pacifica models and other models built prior to November 1, 2022. I do have the TSB, but I do not have permission from FCA US to share it. Hope this helps!

I seriously doubt they will do any map updates for free. Specially pushing it over LTE and pay for the data...

Expect one day so they finally force us to OTA Maps and maybe offer a one time map upgrade for a less outdated map for a hefty fee.
Because it has more issues ;)
Genuinely curious, outside of the cluster mess that FireTV theater screens seem to be, what issues do 2022 UConnect has that 2021 does not? They should be pretty similar.
So... if you have a 2022 and got this most recent update, can you please check your map version and share it here? I'm going to have a f** conniption if there was a legit map update for 22 that isn't available on 21.

So you got a "new" map that's still 1.5 years old?

That's not the way TomTom services work. I wouldn't be surprised if Chrysler doesn't figure out a screwy way around the TomTom service to charge us to make a buck.

Probably the same map that came from the factory.

I wish mine was that new. My factory (and current) map is dated March 2020. Complete garbage

You would think! I'm just going by what I've seen/read.....just search "2022 Uconnect issues" in the forum search bar above and you'll see a bunch of threads of people complaining about it. Whether it be rebooting, not connecting to phones, or mainly the screens not working....it definitely has bugs though.

On the other hand, I've had zero issues with the UConnect in my 2021 though and actually like it a lot. (especially compared to the UConnect 4 I had in my Chargers -- it's leap years better)
More importantly, the audio issues with Wireless Apple CarPlay are seemingly gone, I used to get skips and cracks in music when using the touch screen GUI to look at other things on the screen while music was playing, seems a process priority for music was introduced and I'm a much happier person now!

I have this update and my map version is TTNAV.S24.0.0 It says the latest map release date was 07/05/2021
2022 Pacifica PHEV here and I was at the dealership yesterday (3/21/2023) and told the service manager I wasn't leaving till I got the S26.17 update. He showed me some page where the release date was 3/13/2023. My system worked on an off with S24.18, but it was terrible and super annoying for long road trips. The S26.17 update has made my back screens inoperable. They're black no matter what you do. I'm going to consult with a lemon lawyer or at least build a case on my own through NCDOT, because this is ridiculous. It shouldn't take you 6 months to release a new FW that makes the system worse. Likely have to wait another 6 months to get a new release, which may or may not work as well. Dealerships are useless these days! Any other 2022 pacifica owner with the same issue?

I ended up doing hard resets of UConnect and the RES TV's. Can't control most of the rear stuff from the back and I no longer have working heated / ventilated seats but my kids are happy? 🥴

Hello Johnny15,

I'm sorry to hear of additional concerns after receiving the S26.17 update. Our team is available via PM to assist with bringing these concerns to the attention of the Uconnect specialist for further assistance.
