I've been on this forum for a while but finally am an owner. After leasing a Honda Pilot I knew I needed to get a van. Researched and tested every option and almost pulled the trigger on an Odyssey yesterday, but was able to find a better price on the Pacifica and came home with it instead. I've always liked the Pacifica but was never able to find the right combo of features and price until yesterday. Looking forward to being able to provide actual input here as an owner, not just a researcher.

Congratulations on your new minivan. Post some pictures and information about your car. From what you said it seems like you were okay with either Pacifica or an Odyssey and did not choose one over the other even after extensive research. That’s good to know.

Hope you enjoy your Touring L.

Nothing wrong with doing research.
We had a Town and Country and I noticed the Pacifica was a bit longer - I measured and checked, and said 'it ought to fit' - Well, it does, but I have no more than 2 inches between front bumper and garage door. I back in, so unloading is easy - if I pulled in nose first, I'd have to unload with garage door open. Reason for close fit is I have a wall of cabinets in garage - the tailgate JUST clears the front of the cabinets. What I've done is carefully pulled car in, made sure it was the best spot, then took big pieces of 2x12 and duct-taped them to floor. Now, I back in until I hit the 2x12s and know I'm done (I still check before I close the garage door).
My research shows the regular Pacifica is the only one with BOTH rows of seats that disappear. (It ruled out the hybrid for me, as second row cannot disappear).
Every car magazine comparison test I could find put the Pacifica on top.
I have ZERO regrets about my purchase, and wife is happy.
Welcome.
