Hey all,

New member here from Wisconsin. We just picked up our velvet red touring L plus this morning. First Chrysler product in the family, always been a GM guy. The design and features on these things is outstanding, very impressed.

Options are:

Tire and wheel group
Advanced safety
NAV
Hands free doors
Key sense (didn't really want, but was already on the lot)

I've already been following led lighting mod posts, need to get rid of the yellow halogens asap!

Welcome SwaggerWagon, I too am a former GM loyalist, but after our first Chrysler T&C back in 06 we were hooked and we've been buying exclusively Chrysler vans since. To me a van is the most versatile and useful type of vehicle on the market and this new generation of Chrysler van is the cat's meow (as far as vans go, LOL). Enjoy your new ride, and I hope you have a great Chrysler experience.

Welcome. My wife and I were in the same boat when we bought our L Plus. Always had a Grand Cherokee.

Thanks guys. After a day it has already made life easier!

But, there are definitely things I am going to miss from our Acadia Denali. Most of all, the memory seats and heads up display.

My wife drives it most often, but whenever we all go somewhere, I drive. Such a pain trying to figure out where the seat is comfortable all over again every time!

But then I think back to my first car, a '79 Buick that just adjusted front to back. Life isn't so bad lol.

I actually miss manual seat adjusters. I knew that, for me, 3 clicks of the lever raises the seat to my location. A small notch on the side of the center panel aligned the front part of my seat for me and moving the rear recline all the way back, and then back up half way meant I would be comfortable and I could do this all really quick. Now there is only visuals and a slow motor.

It's a shame that you have to get the Limited to get the memory seat. I would definitely miss it!

Totally agree with that. I would like to see an option to add a 'package' to say the Touring and the Touring-L that would include a couple of the niceties, like memory seats, power passenger seat, heated steering. There are those of us who at this point in our lives (60's plus) have no real use for the Uconnect theater, nothing against that, but would like a couple creature comfort options, after all we're getting OLD(er).

Your story sounds identical to mine. Traded in a fully loaded Acadia for a Touring L Plus. Missing the HUD and memory seats as well. I mean, there's a button that moves the seat forward so you can do the stow and go thing in the second row, and then you press it again to move it back, how could they not just add 3 more buttons on the door?!

Because they want you to spend thousands more on the limited!

I have the feeling that the wiring and harness is all there, just need to add the panel with the switches. Might be worth looking into!

The HUD on the other hand.....
