I think I got a great deal on our Pacifica just wanted to see how it compares with what everyone else is seeing. We bought a Touring L-Plus with the tire and wheel package, 8 passenger seating, 8.4 Uconnect NAV, and Keysense. MSRP with all options was $41,180. Got the sale price of the vehicle down to $36,543 minus $2,500 in rebates the final sale price was $34,043. Add in NYS tax and other fees my total out the door price was $37,250. How'd I do on this deal?

Sounds like a good deal.
Who's your dealer?

That's fantastic! If your salesman would like to repeat that deal I might be a quick sale for him/her.

$1000 for a conquest lease (I also lease a Chevy), $1000 for a TDM (Targeted Direct Mailer) that I got from Chrysler, and $500 in Chrysler Cash that everyone is eligible for.

Ah, it's the TDM that I'm missing, though I do get a $500 rebate for being a USAA member. Any tips on being targeted for a TDM? I'm guessing having a Pacifica already on order is a good way NOT to get a TDM.

I am wondering what deals everyone is getting......List your trim level with what options and then the incentives you got.....
Limited fully loaded(in my signature) msrp of $51,340. I am getting it for $48,396 - rebates at time of delivery. $46,596 with current ($1,500) rebate. With my 08 Dodge Nitro trade in I am looking $46,000 ttl.

A good way to look is go to NADA.com and build one and you get the invoice.....then you take invoice price and take half of the holdback off (mine is 1470.00, so 735.00) off the 48,115.00 - 735.00 then apply the rebates -1500.00......45,880.00 then add back 6.25% Texas car tax 2867.50 comes to 48,747.50 and add the bs dealer paperwork and registration of say 250.00 so total is 48,997.50. I am getting another 700 off for a friends and family discount 48,297.00 is an estimate.

What I am not understanding is how some dealers are saying they can sell them for like 7K off MSRP....... like gip1123, that is a good deal.

Here is my window sticker ... http://www.chrysler.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=2C4RC1GG7HR572739

Here is the NADA.com link to show you invoice price.... http://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/2017/Chrysler/Pacifica/Limited-4dr-Wgn/Pricing

hope this helps some

I got that by going to the Chrysler website and requesting a test drive. There was a link on the site at the time.

The dealer was Transitowne Chrysler in Elma, NY. I wouldn't count on the same deal though. The salesman and GM had to get approval to pull the trigger from the actual dealership owner! They must be close to their monthly quota and needed to move units. They both told me that "they lost money on this sale". I told them I highly doubt that and they both looked at me dead in the eye and said "no we did"! I replied with "don't worry you'll make it back on the next guy!" LOL

Was this for a car off their lot? Getting almost 5K off before incentives is a great deal. Did you do a trade-in? One of the dealers I went to offered me a good price on a new car, but totally lowballed me on my trade.

I'm pretty bad at negotiating, so I ended up just ordering mine using the Costco program, which is $500 below invoice before rebates. There's a Sam's Club incentive for $1000 that my dealer allowed on top of the current offers. Not sure what the final total will be, but I'm probably looking at just under $5K under MSRP after rebates for my Limited.

That's where all those weirdo under the table manufacturer to dealer incentives that aren't well publicized come out of the door. Some for moving high volumes of vehicles, some for vehicles that have been sitting in stock for way too long, etc...Sometimes, they actually take a little bit of a hit! Those weirdo incentive are always hard to figure out.

I ended up with an MSRP of $51105, negotiated price $47k - rebates/incentives. If all holds up until November, it should be $45.5k + TTL, which I am happy with...

Seems like they gave you the entire holdback. How do dealerships make money by doing that?

Invoice price for the vehicle was $46,715 + $995 destination = $47710. Holdback was calculated at $1503. I offered $47k - rebates/incentives. Dealers don't care about the rebates/incentives, pretty much free money, so they are still receiving some money even if you dip a little bit into their holdback.

I'm surprised the invoice price wasn't higher with an MSRP of $51,105. My MSRP was $49,600 and had an invoice price of $47,261 (with destination). Maybe your combination of options had higher markups.

You're right. I was actually off by a thousand dollars.

Invoice base ($40826) + interior protection ($605) + advanced safety tech ($1776) + trailer ($886) + splash ($134) + theater and sound ($2488) + destination ($995) = $47710.

MSRP base ($42495) + IP ($680) + AST ($1995) + trailer ($995) + Splash ($150) + T&S ($2795) + destination ($995) = $50105
