Just curious, Chrysler products have been known to have underwhelming headlight performance, I was wondering how the HID's perform in the Pacifica? Anyone pleased or displeased with their performance?

Love ours, I always leave our fogs on too. Ver bright and coverage is great!

On a related note, my 05 300C had excellent HIDs. I am looking for a suitable replacement for the 35 year old tech "halogen reflector lights" on my Touring, they are as bad as my Volvo S60 reflector halogens.
I hear that II Kings! I had a '98 Grand Caravan LE, and those were by far the worst headlights I've ever had, right on par with my '95 Dodge Intrepid. If it weren't for the fog lights in both vehicles, I would have had the spottiest coverage ever.

Thanks Norbert, that's great to hear! I'm a stickler for good headlight performance, I like to be able to see where I'm going. :smile2:

Most Jeep Wrangler owners make their first modification by installing aftermarket headlights - OEMs are the worst on that model......traded in my '15 Jeep Wrangler Sahara for the Pacifica Limited - but I only have 500 miles on the ODO and haven't driven at night yet

Well if that's true, didn't apply to my 2006 300C SRT8..
Those HIDs threw far and was very bright, it just took a little bit of time to warm up..
At 4300k slight yellow but mostly white I liked em..

HID's are fine on my Pacifica.. I use it in conjunction with the Fog Lamps and its bright upfront.. I may replace the bulb in the future with OSRAMs DS3s.. maybe.. and LED high beams.. maybe..

Chase, I was going a little further back, as I explained earlier with my '98 Grand Caravan LE. It had the worst reflectors in the in the headlight assembly, and it threw a spotty dim light, same as my '95 Dodge Intrepid. Glad they've gotten better over time. My '05 Pacifica had standard halogen headlights, they weren't great either, even for halogens.

I see I see, I am sure those were pretty bad, but as your curiosity it has been over 20 years so it has to improve, LOL hopefully..

This discussion is ridiculous. All cars should have HID by now. I put GE halogen sealed beams on my '65 Corvair in 1980 when I was in college. They were better than these Pacifica halogen reflectors which are awful '90s tech. Same for my S60 Volvo.

Has anyone tried putting a high power LED bulb in the halogen projectors to see how the light output is?

007 - Send it over to "Q" division. He'll take care of that for you.
