I wanted to get a Master Tow Dolly to tow my 2017 Pacifica behind my RV. Was told by the manufacture that the Pacifica will not fit because it is 80" from tire to tire. Bummer.

I'm confused (I've never towed a vehicle behind an RV) but why won't the model 80THD work if you like that brand? How do they measure?

I just ran across this discussion. We have a 2017 Pacifica, and the Model 80THD from MasterTow. This dolly will not safely tow the Pacifica !!. We experienced damage to the vehicle from the dolly fenders, as well as the Pacifica pushing the fenders against the dolly tire. This caused the head of one of the fender mounting bolts to dig into the tire sidewall which destroyed the tire, and the fender when the tire came apart doing more damage to the Pacifica. We were 1500 miles from home, so we had to live with the issue until we got home. We took extra measures to insure that we did not make any tight turns that would cause the car to hit the dolly and cause additional damage. My insurance company has considered this to a claim where I am at fault. Side note, we were able to pickup a new fender for the dolly at a dealer in Bismark, ND, and the owner of the dealer showed me the same damage that had been happened to his Pacifica when using the same make and model of dolly.
