Guessing that's the standard response they give without knowing the details about your hood given that diagnostic reports makes no sense. Typical corporate bureaucracy.
You have to play their game . I need this issue fixed in case if I have to sell her in the future

Just discovered paint bubbling up in two areas on the front edge of the hood , I remember my car on the lift with the hood open for oil change with lights on in the work area I waited almost 2hrs to have my oil changed wonder if paint damage happened at the dealer with hood left open on the lift with hot light from above. I don't know what to do?. I will post photos later
I just posted this response in another thread about the same issue. Bubbling Paint Issue on Hood

I just bought a used 2017 Chrysler Pacifica with 56,600 miles. It's got the same paint bubbling problem all along the front of the hood. I took it to the dealership to address an open recall and asked about the paint issue. (after reading through this and all the other forums about the same problem). He was really dismissive and when I asked about the corrosion warranty he said he didn't know anything about it. Finally he told me to call Chrysler Customer Service, which I did. My corrosion warranty ran out last month but the representative told me to take it back to the dealership and have it diagnosed as a manufacturers defect and then they could proceed with the case. Considering how many vehicles are affected I'm hoping this will resolve the issue and I can get the hood repaired or replaced.

There's actually a bulletin from Chrysler out about this exact problem. Bulletin Number 31-001-18 REV.B Dated November 22, 2018

I would be more worried about it being a 2017 .
Depending on the in service date jdcmontana is right at the 5 year mark with 56,600 miles. So if it's 100,000 miles or unlimited doesn't even matter at this point.

From here note the web address as www.chrysler.com

Yeah at the end of 2022 it will close out the warranty period for all 2017s.

Thanks for the link. It's definitely generic and not for Pacificas. At least in the US.

It may already be closed for most 2017's
Did a little research Yes that link is generic for Chrysler. I pulled every warranty for Pacifica's from 17-22 all are 5 Yr unlimited mileage.

I have the same issue with paint bubbling at the edge of the hood on the 2017 model. Will this be still covered under warranty? Seems to be a known issue.

If you are within 5 years of your in service date, and under 100K miles, it should be covered under the perforation warranty.

With this defect it's hard to see unless you come upon it by mistake , in real life you never pay attention to the edge of the hood for paint bubbles. Hideous QC from Chrysler.
