Hi, I'm new to the forum and have been looking for a thread that might help me with this problem. I haven't found a specific one yet that's related, so my apologies in advance if I missed it.
We've had our Pacifica for a week, and I am frustrated. I have an iPhone 7 Plus, and it won't pair with UConnect. My husband had no problem pairing his iPhone 6. I've followed the instructions, but it just won't work. Help, please!
Uconnect 3 on my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is a piece of dung. It is NO improvement over the lkast version.
1. Voice commands do not work with my iPhone 6s plus. It's actually worse than the version of Uconnect we had on our 2015 Chrysler Town and Country. I learned today from Uconnect Canada that the problem lies with Apple. I have the most recent iOS 10.3.2 on my iPhone and the Pacifica radio has only iOS 10.0.0 so there is a compatibility issue. I say Uconnect and Apple should get their act together, or at least tell consumers there are such issues before they sell us these cars. Yeah, as if...
2. Pairing the iPhone 6s plus and the Uconnect 3 can be done but it is a nightmare and has to be attempted more than once before they finally pair. They are way more more difficult to pair than they were on the 2015 Town and Country.
3. Just as with the 2015 version, I cannot get the iPhone 6s plus GPS to have sound, that is, the voice prompts, through the radio. To get any sound, I have to turn off Bluetooth on the phone, then the I can hear the voice prompts only through the iPhone speaksers, certainly not through the car radio. I thought I would be rid of that problem, too. Ha. Fat Chance!
