The ParkSense Active Park Assist Switch is used to enable and disable the ParkSense Active Park Assist System. It is the button just upper right side of the manual volume control knob. (Has "P" with a Steering Wheel Icon & the word "ON"). When pressed you should see a Blue LED illuminate on the button with a tone and instructions in driver instrument cluster.
If this does not happen you may have a problem that requires a Software Flash from your Chrysler Service Dept. This was the solution as reported by another Forum Member. You may also find helpful info on YouTube, UConnect Guide App or Pacifica Owners Manual which can be downloaded free online.

Reviving and old post here:
Did you ever figure out the issue with park assist? I just purchased a 2017 Pacifica and the park assist won't activate just like you described in your post. Am I going to need a software update? Will they try to charge me for that?

You will have to check with the dealer to see if there will be a charge. We generally see here that if the vehicle is out of the 3/36 Warranty, you will be charged for the software update.
You could try pulling fuse F67 for 30 seconds. That fuse covers the Parktronics System (PTS)
