Hi,

On my '16 Sienna, I could just pull the handle of the sliding doors a bit and they would open. However, on the '22 Pachy Hybrid Pinnacle, it doesn't work like that. You either need to press the button or put your foot under the door. Is it working as designed or am I missing something?

A quick pull on a sliding door handle of my 2018 does trigger the door to open electrically.

When doors are locked and I approach with fob in pocket, have to yank on door handle twice.

The door handle button is much more user friendly than pulling handle . This feature allows for entry into the vehicle with less user interaction . Foot swiping or handle button requires less user input and less door handle user effort .

Tried that on my car and it doesn't work too.

My belief and experience is... while unlocked the first pull or button push activates the automatic side door. Pulling twice and holding it open on the second pull puts the door into manual control. Pushing the button on the front doors will lock the doors/door if the proximity is turned on and is looking for the fob.
