Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) - the dealership did a nice job of cleaning the Pacifica that I picked up this week but neglected to install the wheel locks and vacuum. The locks and vac kit were in bags in the back of the vehicle.

Also, tire pressures were on the high side and unequal (41/43 in the front and 44/44 in the rear.....cold!). I presume the factory over inflates them to prevent flat spotting during transit and while sitting on the lots. Any local Quick Lube oil change place would have caught this but my dealer did not.

Anything else that might have been overlooked (eg, software updates)?

Congrats on the new van. Many people have reported the over inflation. That seems normal and others have also stated that wheel lock and vacuum aren't generally installed at pickup unless specifically requested that the dealer put those items on at pickup.

What exterior color did you get?

Liked the pictures in the brochure and went for the RED with black/alloy interior. Just ordered a portable air compressor and upgraded our AAA membership as this is the first car I've ever had without a spare tire.

Didn't yours come with the cool MOPAR air compressor? I bought the vacuum option without spare but my limited still came with the MOPAR compressor with the built in goop canister.

The storage area in the back of the vehicle was empty....no tire inflator kit. I was supposed to get one according to my window sticker. Went back to the dealer and they took one out of another vehicle.

BrettP...........I owe you a beer! Thanks for letting me know this was supposed to come with the vehicle, even with the vac kit.

Steve - Beers are good, haha! I've learned so much from the other members of this forum that I owe a few beers myself.

The air compressor is pretty nice and even has fittings stowed in the back for blowing up pool floats, filling basketballs, etc. I wonder how many seasons we can trust that built-in can of fix-a-flat, though.

I know this one! Thats needed to allow you to add gas. It's needed to bypass the capless gas cap function. More for that than a funnel (because of small opening).
Awesome. Thank you for the response.

You'll need this funnel if you ever have to fill from a gas can (run out of gas) or periodically add injector cleaner or other fuel additives. Don't expect roadside service to necessarily know how to do this. You might have to show them.

I've opened the capless gas port with just my fingers but it is slightly fussy to do because you have to press outward radially with even force in multiple locations. Using the supplied funnel does this for you, easy peasy. It's all about having something round that is the same diameter as a gas pump nozzle.

I've also confirmed that you can cut a regular plastic funnel at just the right spot in the beveled end to do the same.
