I don't know if this has been posted before or if anyone else noticed this but when I printed out my build sheet when it was first available on 2/27/17 the Vehicle Description read: 2017 CHRYSLER PACIFICA LTD PLATINUM HYBRID WAGON. Upon checking it again online I see that it now reads: 2017 CHRYSLER PACIFICA EHYBRID PLATINUM WAGON

A small change but more in line with the naming scheme they ended up going with by leaving out the LTD or "Limited" and changing it to EHYBRID.

Mine printed on 3/5/17 is identical to the one I checked online just now. Both have the same title and say EHYBRID

Ok, so the change must have happened between 2/27/17 and 3/5/17. The only reason I noticed it was I was looking at someone else's build sheet and I thought the description looked different so I brought mine up online again and it was the same as his so I went back to my folder of paperwork for my deal and got the equipment listing out that I had printed the day it was available and it was different. I don't know why I remembered that, but since I have been obsessing over the van since it is taking so long I guess it just stuck. Here's a photo, sorry about the back of the page coming through, I was recycling old paper for these 9 pages I printed.

I have a brochure I picked up last summer and the Hybrids had different names originally. They show the names as Pacifica Limited Hybrid and Pacifica Touring Hybrid which is not what they have been calling them since they allowed orders. Wonder if the name change is another one of those hold ups in shipping them? Along the lines of someone ordered the wrong badge names for the back of the vans.

Here is the difference between my build sheet from 02/01/2017 and today. I have both PDFs, I converted both to text, removed the "date printed" line, and ran diff against them:
$ diff 02-01-2017\ -\ BuildSheetServlet.txt 03-20-2017\ -\ BuildSheetServlet.txt
5c5
< 2017 CHRYSLER PACIFICA LTD PLATINUM HYBRID WAGON
---
> 2017 CHRYSLER PACIFICA EHYBRID PLATINUM WAGON

< e-Flite Si-EVT Transmission
---
> EFlite Si-EVT Transmission
337c337
< 3.6L V6 PHEV Hybrid Engine
---
> 3.6L V6 Hybrid Engine

So nothing super intriguing on my build sheet has changed really. They renamed the engine to just Hybrid from PHEV, changed the branding of the EVT, and changed the name of the vehicle.

So are things supposed to change on a build sheet? I see my car build sheet from 3/19 and today 3/21 and there are at least 7 new lines of information listed. Not sure what they are as I'm looking on my phone. I'll try and print them out when I get home.

Oh wait. Sorry. I was looking at someone else's build and mine. Mine just has two more FAM: RU TRACKING codes than the other hybrid. And mine has "Manuf Statement of Origin" and looks like the other van ordered the sunroof. IT SEEMS IF YOU ORDERED SUNROOF, YOU GET POWERED OPEN/CLOSE SHADE. Unless they are talking about shade for the sunroof.

Great job with the comparison! I too have the same changes. I'm sure it's just name changes to get it more in line with the way Chrysler is marketing the vehicle. If anything, this was a nice little distraction to pass time while I wait for it to actually show up.

Yes, that's the shade for the sunroof.
