Just picked it up today.
It is dealer order, so I payed around $2200 extra for it.
No power folding mirror.
So far so good.
One thing about the blueray dvd I can't figure out.
When I inserted a dvd, nothing showed up. I can't find the icon from the launch resources. Anyone knows how to solve this?
I am wondering the dvd player can't recognize the dvd I inserted.

Thank you

They charged you $2200 extra (over MSRP?) to "allow you" to order it.....yikes

Some people can occasionally get the DVD player to work by doing a factory reset on the Fire TV but my understanding is it doesn't last and disappears again. Most people will just load movies on a flash drive and plug it into the USB port.

Yeah, I'll go for flash drive.
I don't use DVD a lot. listen to CD mostly.
But flash drive will do the same job.

It would be interesting to find out if sideloading apps will work. My current favorite sideloaded app is called HDO.
Did they pair the phone and do some setup for you?

Well. I would have done that a bit differently. I put stress on the Maintenance Manual first. Read about the basic requirements to keep your van running efficiently. Learn what the Roadside Assistance can do for you. It is so underused. I would keep a record on the VIN and Roadside someplace other than inside the vehicle only. The free locked-out and out-of-gas service is pretty important.
Then read the Uconnect Manual, then Owners Manual. Then the then the..... :)
