Can everyone post your best negotiated price for a 2017 Pacifica Hybrid Platinum here? Please include the dealership location and the configuration (not too many options anyway). Pretax and exclude all fees.

I think this will definitely help prospective buyers and also the dealers who have given a good price to our forum members.

People must include dealer/doc fees because that is profit for the dealer and varies a lot by region. Some states regulate them tightly, for example it's capped at $80 in California, while in Florida it is unregulated and $799 doc fees are not unheard of.
It's probably also worth leaving out deals which include a trade because there is too much variability there.

Thanks for the update. I did the same. Placed $44200 order with David @Colma dealership for Pacifica hybrid platinum. No deposit needed. Mikey at the same dealership offered msrp. But I don't how real this is. Hoblit Woodland CA Joe Wynsen cast a doubt. He said u will be laden with xtras when it is time to take the delivery. I will find out in 8-12 weeks. Glen Thomas long beach also offered msrp.

For SF Bay Area Folks the best deal is at Colma CA Dealership. 44200. Ask for David.

Same here. Now matter how directly i ask them, they are very careful not to mention exact quote over email or anything written, only verbally. they say they do not need deposit. Would not even send me a confirmation copy of the order. All the very direct requests to confirm price over email in writing are just silently ignored.

I sort of understand their reluctance to have anything deal-locking when they don't even have a thing to sell which they do not know when/if they even get it. But at least they could've clarified their position as much, I would be happy to order elsewhere. Instead, there's just enough talk to maintain this resemblance of price commitment on their side. There are other dealers in bay area which would have no problem placing sold order and provide a confirmation copy with my name and address on it, along with written preliminary final price quote.

It is possible I am jumping to conclusions prematurely, but it smells. Yes, they will have little to nothing to lose. Yes they will be able to sell it likely for better price, because they won't have to put an allocation waiting time as a condition on the deal. The closer the delivery, the higher is the value. The PH I've seen already on the lot were offered to me for 3k+ markup price over msrp.

But absolutely all other dealers I asked had no problem quoting me over email, either in absolute numbers or relatively to invoice, putting sold order in my name and address, and sending me the confirmation copy of the invoice. Colma would not do it no matter how directly i ask them. They are not even that much competitive on verbal price ($200 better than another dealer that is even closer to me, $300 worse than the order i had canceled with yet another dealer because of 17" wheels on it) -- but with exception of a few extravagant dealers in high-ish-end zip codes, the variance on best deals deals has really been very little. Had i known this, i would not go to them. Dealer games are just not worth it.

Let's be clear -- perhaps like for many others, there's absolutely no financial sense for me to have this car. Regular Pacificas Limited are going with 7k+ discounts in my zip code AND they can tow and have memory seats, with that. Toyotas can be AWD and live forever (all of mine did). And they do not need additional expenses of setting up second EVSE.

The only reason for me to have this car is to get rid of gas emissions almost completely for day to day use (my garage is 50% electric now). Save the planet if you will. Climate change may be too abstract, but at least fewer children with asthma in my neighborhood perhaps. I don't even need a new car, my current family SUV is still quite decent. I am just fortunate enough to be able and willing to pay an extra for it, and so apparently are the taxpayers and PGE that offer help with it, and I don't see any reason whatsoever why dealer should cash in while others sacrifice any more than on any other car on their lot. If they step away even a dime from what they are verbally quoting when time comes, this particular dealer can have it. We'll see.

In any case I just hope Chrysler would be able to churn out enough of those to make yet another small dent. Eventually and hopefully not just Chrysler.

This is why you need to tell the dealer to give you the "Out-the-door price", instead of focusing on just cost of the car. Get the OTD price from every dealer, in writing, and then it is simple to compare. If they won't give you the OTD, then go elsewhere.

And I tried to explain that's exactly what i tried to do. They would not answer direct request over email or voicemail left. When i get them over the phone they quote verbally, promise follow-up over email, and then nothing happens. It could be just a dropped ball that i need to get back to (for the 3rd or 4th time now). Or it could be a tactic.

Some dealers would not give price over email, but some do. You can kindly ask them again and tell them you are getting quotes from others and just want to make sure they are not left out. I have found that if they are not willing to give a quote over email, they are probably not competitive anyway.

Exactly. Everybody else i asked had not a problem. I asked several times. I think a week is enough time to come clear on this, i can't write it off as a mere human lapse of attention any longer.

So I ordered from my dealer, but was given MSRP pricing. I had told them that I was a costco member and that I was expecting Costco pricing. They are telling me there is no mark up and that they only make $100. Supposedly the $1400 goes to Chrysler for something about advertising or something.

Anyone know if Costco pricing is valide or exists for the Hybrid?
