I just got the notification email from ProClip that they have the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica mount for their phone clips.

I just placed my order. For those unfamiliar with ProClip, it's a 2-part order you place... you choose the holder based on YOUR device and needs, and then you choose a mount specific to your model/make/year vehicle and you mate them. Quality product.

Tired of relegating one of my cup-holders to be an iPhone cradle. :grin2:

The installation location is just where I assumed it would be... no real other places to go without it obscuring something or being in direct-path of a vent. Hopefully others can enjoy the advantages of this manufacturer's product(s).

Update:

I don't know if it was a case of a "squeaky wheel getting grease"... or just coincidental timing, but as soon as I emailed them, I got a reply from a person saying it should ship out tonight... followed by a shipping confirmation email from ProClip.

Either way, I am happy it's on its way. :wink2:

That's pretty cool, have never heard of them but it's like a bespoke phone clip ! Seems much better than buying your Wal-Mart universal application phone mount

Alternative mount

I use one of these in our Pacifica I had to heat the backing plate to mold it to the part of the dash, but I've used similar magnetic mounts in my other cars and love them, especially the cd slot type. But the Pacifica doesn't have an available slot to use so i went with this.

I had always bought those "metal mounts" from I can't remember off hand, but they are bolten on the dash using existing bolts like the radio bolts and then another mount fits to it for your devise.....I will call these folks though...

Also, I dont have my pacifica yet. I was wondering bout how far the reach is to the mount. can I sit with my back to the seat and reach it, or do I definitely have to lean forward/side to reach it

Lol, well while i was searching, I found another post

I cant post links, but in it, user irpilot used the proclip mount backing and did his own custom mount. I think i'd setup something a little differtne than that, but I think his general setup is sound. its worth a look
