Yes. Does that matter?
Yep. When the seat memory is recalled it's defaulting to your last radio presets and settings. It'll do that automatically if the key fob is linked to either memory setting.

While we are at it, I would like the clock to light the UConnect screen when the radio is off. That black screen doesn't look good to me.

Snow? Palm Sunday and last Sunday, each day we had six inches of heavy unshovelable stuff that was virtually gone the next day.
I love that my Ioniq displays the day of the week, date, and time on the screen when I turn it off.
Yes I do forget what day it is quite often.

Thanks! So I need to re-memorize my seats while settings re the way that I want? How do I re-memorize key fob? Just by pushing the set button?

I’m guessing that you probably don’t need to rememorize the keyfob, but just redo the seat memory settings while keeping the radio where you want. It’s just a guess but worth an easy attempt.
If it doesn’t work, then re do the key settings as well. It’s not that difficult either but has few extra steps. Check owners manual or search on the in car electronic manual (access through the screen menu).

Are you saying there is a way to stop the radio from turning on an FM station when you start the car? This happens in my car. I NEVER listen to FM radio. Only XM. But sometimes when I start the car FM radio is playing VERY loud. Is my radio defective or is this normal behavior? If it is normal, how could the dealer fix it?
Hi Dheymann,
I am unable to determine if your radio is operating as designed as I am not a trained technician. If you feel that this is not the proper function, I recommend visiting your dealer in order to have this concern inspected. You're welcome to send us a private message if you would like any assistance once you visit your dealer.

Our 2019 does this as well. I think it's a result of the baffling decision by the Uconnect designers not to put in a straightforward "off" button for the audio system. You can mute the sound, but that's temporary. You can switch to an input that isn't currently producing sound, such as the "media" input when nothing's plugged in, but sometimes it still seems to change itself back to radio unexpectedly. There's the power button, but that turns the whole infotainment screen off. It's like they couldn't concieve that someone wouldn't want to be listening to music all the time.

Frig and Bond007 solved my problem. Had no idea that the memory seats were the issue. All I had to do was start the car, set the radio to the station I wanted, and then re-memorize my seat. Thanks Guys!

I am having the same radio issue. I do not have memory seats. So is there something I can program in the system to keep Sirius as the default?
What year and model do you have?

2019 Touring Plus. Also have issues with wife's phone dropping CarPlay connection or Uconnect connection while driving. Not sure if related but could all be related to uconnect/radio.

replaced the cord with a new apple cord and issues appears to have gone away. Last nuisance thing is that with the overhead dvd player down, car always starts in AUX.
