RE: Vacuum Door Closure Inside

Regarding The Vacuum Hose Door Closure On The New Limited Pacifica-I picked up my new Pacifica yesterday and noticed that the inside door holding the vacuum hose does not shut flat against the car inside like the door below it. Are they all like that or is there a problem with the hinge/door that it does not close flat? Any sharing would be appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you for getting back to me. I have been usuccessful in copying the pic for you.

It does not close 'flat' and there is nothing pushing it forward. I think the way it is installed via the hinge looks faulty?

Hi Ananda Ohm,

We would recommend visiting your local dealership for further diagnosis of your concerns, they will be best able to identify any repairs needed. Feel free to send us a PM with your VIN for further assistance if needed!

Yeah, mine too. At first I thought the extra vacuum hose might be blocking/pushing it out but even if I do get it to close flat it doesn't stay that way for long. It does close reliably and stays closed so I just assumed all doors had that big gap and completely forgot about it until seeing this thread ... so now my curiosity is piqued again.
