It tries I hear it unlatch and latch but that's it. It aborts the opening process. If I try again usually it opens normally. Am I doing something wrong?? Anyone else have this issue? It will beep like its going to open but wont raise sometimes

Doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong.

Mine does this exact thing. I find that if I unlock the doors first that it seems to work more consistently, but I know this isn't how it's supposed to operate. I plan on having it looked at when I bring it in for the next oil change.

I've seen this at least once before. Have not been able to reproduce it again so far

I guess I will have them take a look at it. I did take some WD40 on a rag and wiped down the weather strip just in case the hatch was sticking to the rubber.
