Coming back to this thread from earlier posts. I'm still having problems with the entertainment system, system restarts (head unit and Fire TVs) don't always address the issues consistently and the system can remain unacceptably unavailable for use.

I am rightfully frustrated enough that I'm trying in vain to organize folks to join together for a class action lawsuit. We all paid a premium for this system and it is simply not reliable enough and should be considered a defect that requires remedy - either by fixing the system once and for all, or by refunding money paid for the system and damages for decreased resale value.

I have an appointment set up on Feb 9th to see if a reported dealer-only "flash" of new firmware will resolve problems.

Otherwise, we really should be looking to band together and sue. And this system is a disasters across Stellantis brands - Ram, Jeep, too. So we'll have plenty of folks to stand with us.
New member here, I would be interested in the class action lawsuit as well.

I received my 2022 Touring L in December and have encountered the same issue. Just for laughs, I decided to haul it down to the stealership, who was (unsurprisingly) perplexed. The tech opened a STAR case for me. The description on the service invoice reads:

"Contacted STAR with all info. Chrysler contacted back stating they know there is an issue and they are working on a solution at this time".

Exactly what is happening to me right now. Dealer said they will have to keep my pacifica there to keep the case open. Just got homewith a loaner jeep compass.

Hi there, I had the same issue, and based on your post, looks like our minivans were built around the same time. I called the UConnect customer care this morning and the agent walked me through resetting the rear screens (on the Fire TVs itself). This solved the error message issue on the front display. Here are the Instructions: Tap the Gear icon (on each fire TV screen), then tap Device and Software, tap Reset to Factory Defaults. Follow the prompts to set up the screens after Reset and it should work. Good luck!
I tried this 2 weeks ago, and everything has been working 100% for 2 weeks. Thanks @jayCA
I had previously tried resetting based on another suggestion which involved resetting the head unit.
That one had not worked.
Also both rear TVs were working great and connected to Jeep wifi HOTSPOT (free ATT trial).
Whenever I would search wifi I would see the hotspot and another Jeep wifi and have no clue what the other one is.

I did notice the rear TVs have 2 different reset options. This time I made sure to select Factory reset.
This time I did not touch the head unit.

Reset left one first. When it restarted, I noticed the steps to register the TV were different than when I had done the previous reset.
I wish I'd taken screen shots or video.
I gave it time to download the update automatically before touching right TV.

At this point the wife came to ask wth I was doing lol. Told her to hop in passenger seat and check center head unit and passenger screen. Both worked as intended.

Now, I do have a 2023 Grand Cherokee Overland. Not a Pacifica.
But this is the identical system, and I was having the exact same issue as all of you.

Hi everyone, just want to post an update from my 22 pacific with this issue. My car stayed at the dealership for over a week with a star case opened back to Chrysler. And the dealership said the Chrysler engineers had to remote into my car and perform some updates for the entertainment system(I was confused because when I check on the screens, both of the screens showed the software version is up-to-date. Not sure what kind of update was available/installed, maybe a beta version?) Anyway, tested at the dealership yesterday and it seems to be working fine. I will test the system for the next two weeks and keep everyone posted here.

I've read this entire thread and have had every single problem that has been stated by all participating here. We bought our 2022 Pacifica in July 2022 and right away we didn't have a blu ray option in our menu and couldn't get anything to play off of a USB stick. Talked to our salesman and he stated we needed to have the system "updated". So less than a week in our possession we had to take the van in for service. While there they updated the Fire Tv's and the head unit software. They got the blu ray option to work but the usb still wasn't working, they stated they needed to order a new module that the usb plugs into but they never called that it was ordered and we didn't bother since the blu ray and Fire Tv's were now working. Now everything was working great up until a few weeks ago when the left screen got the dreaded "service not available" from the main unit up front, but the screen still worked in the back. Now this past weekend neither screen will even power up and both screens show the "service not available" in the head unit. I have an appointment set for next Wednesday the 15th, they said they will need the van for the whole day. I am not holding my breath but if they tell me any new information I will post for you all on here.

it seems the Chrysler Engineer fixed it...according to the dealer, the engineers had to remote into my car and pushed some updates over the air...I've been using the screens for the past few weeks and still see the error message randomly, but after either a restart of the front dash screen or a restart of the rear screen...that error went away...so far, the entertainment system seems to be functional....

I have a new 2023 hybrid limited with the error message. I’ve tried to factory reset the UConnect radio but that doesn’t fix it.

When factory resetting the FireTV software from the rear screens, it’s temporarily fixed, as long as I don’t connect to Wi-Fi and update the software.

But as soon as I register the FireTv, connect to Wi-Fi, and update the software, the error returns upon restarting the vehicle after sitting overnight. I wish I could use it without the software update.

Wow, I wish I had read this thread before I bought our Pacifica which we just received 10 days ago. Our 2023 model Pacifica also does not work with the Blu-Ray player that came with it. Occasionally video will work with USB inputs, however most of the time the sound doesn't play through the vehicle. I have an appointment with the dealer to have the problem addressed.
