I'm sorry that happened to you. I had a similar experience. My Pacifica shut down for the first time on 3/6, and then twice a on 3/7. I dropped it off that night at the dealer for the recall software update, and that was installed on 3/8. On 3/10, it shut off again. It has been like pulling teeth with Chrysler corporate trying to get this resolved. For me it has only been a frustrating few days. Others have been enduring this a lot longer. Please share your experience with the repair process and I will do the same.

None at all each of the 4 times. The 4th time was after the software update, so I did at least get a warning on the dash. But the moment the warning popped up I had already lost power. 😪

Definitely make sure to file a NHTSA complaint citing you have the recall fix.Update: had the “recall” service performed today on my 2022 with 7.2k miles. They updated the software on the PIM. I drove it up and down the highway afterwards for a few hours and had a shutdown again. I got about 30 seconds warning as it turned into turtle mode and limped to the shoulder.
Was going at 70 mph with adaptive cruise set and less than 1% battery (same as first time I had the shutdown).
Dealership wouldn’t do anything other than the recall service the first time because it didn’t throw any codes. Now we will see, I’m back at the dealership. I couldn’t restart the car for about 10 minutes and I was on a NOT safe section of highway, so glad I did this test drive before putting the 3 car seats back in!

Without the flash/fix, you just get no warning at all & it just dies on you and you're left coasting and wondering what's going on.
No. Once we got the warning, we lost motive power. We started coasting to the shoulder. From a safety perspective, at some point, there will be accidents related to this problem. We were on an interstate but happened to be on the road at 5am with little traffic. @millsbsm I'm sorry to hear that. This is stunning to me! The resolution documents provided to the NHTSA by Chrysler state that after the update you will have sufficient drive time to safely exit the freeway. However, based upon your experience this is not the case. You lose motive power IMMEDIATELY upon seeing or hearing the warning. This update is not giving me peace of mind.
Anyone who had loss of power after the recall, and lost the power immediately, PLEASE make sure to report it to NHTSA AND flag that recall is not working AT ALL, as it doesn't give you any time to exit the freeway.

We completely understand your frustration on this whole process. A case has been created for our Customer Care Team to be engage with you and with your dealer on this further. Please keep us posted on your repair/experience as it is very important to us.So here is my latest update. The dealer believes there is likely an issue with the EVT in my vehicle. There are more tests that Chrysler is asking them to perform, and a STAR case has been opened. I am told that there is a Case Manager assigned to me who should be able to approve a rental, however getting a hold of this person so far has been impossible. I called Chrysler customer service today and was told by two unhelpful and unhappy reps that the Case Manager would contact me tomorrow. I cannot believe that it would be this difficult to get a loaner or rental vehicle approved. In my life I have owned vehicles from numerous brands and have never encountered such difficulty. I was initially given a verbal offer for reimbursement for up to 40 dollars per day for three days, which ends today. 40 dollars a day does not get you a vehicle equivalent to a minivan.
I hope everyone else has a better experience than me. I appreciate that @ChryslerCares has responded, but I haven't seen any action as a result yet.

Hello,Our 2022 Chrysler Pacifica hybrid had the software update on 3/9/2023. On 3/12, while driving on the interstate traveling 70-75mph, the warning popped up, indicating that a power shutdown was imminent. I had my entire family, kids, and elderly parents in the car with me. Fortunately, we were able to pull over safely, but had we been on the road during a busier time, we would have been in serious danger! Our Pacifica has less than 10k miles and has had no problems previously, including not having any shutdowns before the "fix." My wife was told during the "fix" that if it hadn't happened to us by now, we probably got one of the "good" ones and should be clear. We have no idea what we are going to do as it is not a reasonable option to just keep driving it, never knowing if it will shut off or not. We filed with NHTSA and will contact our Chrysler Dealership tomorrow to start the process of getting a real fix or a buyback. Wish us luck.

Just a thought. I was planning to take a vacation this summer and put about 2000 miles on the car. Now I'm debating as to weather or not
it's worth the risk. Is this harness available to 3rd party mechanics ? If so, for a piece of mind and if the cost is not to prohibitive , I would have a local
transmission shop fix it. Or just change the harness before it fails.
Yea they need to make us whole but it may or may not happen.
It would make the problem go away for for Chrysler but on the back side of this I will never
buy or recommend one of their products again.

Recall 03A how are you handling it?
My car has been identified as part of the 03A recall since January. This is the recall for an issue where the car might lose power suddeny when driving. Mopar apparently has no ETA for fixing it as their recall website is non-functional and the NHSTA page says parts are unavailable. I agree...

I get your concerns. Some of us are having this issue actually happen. I would assume that most vehicles will never have this happen. The software update does not do anything to prevent the issue from occurring. It is only a mitigation to provide you better warning/messaging on the dash. If it does happen to you, don't expect Chrysler to go out of their way to help you. My car has been at the dealer for almost a week. I can't even get someone from Chrysler to call me back to confirm if they will even cover a rental. I get that most manufacturers have issues. How Chrysler is handling this has led me to conclude they don't care about customers. No one who picks up the phone seems to be empowered to do anything besides say that the case manager will call me back. If Chrysler was willing to at least provide a similar loaner or rental, I would not be nearly as upset as I am now.
I'm not saying it's okay, by any means, but the car doesn't just slow down with a lot of resistance right away.@millsbsm I'm sorry to hear that. This is stunning to me! Watch this video and you'll see that he's coasting pretty well still, even without power, and able to get over to the side of the road okay (luckily).
