I took my 2017 Pacifica in for the Y65 recall. Ever since I took it in the passenger driver side door will not close and the start/stop dummy light still goes on and off. I called the dealership and they said sometimes it take the counter a couple of days to reset. After a week I am still having these problems. Did anyone else get the recall update? Is anyone else having these problems?

How many times have you driven the vehicle since the service? Apparently it takes about 5 engine start cycles with at least 4 hours between each cycle.

I too had the Y65 recall performed on my 2018 Touring L plus. At the same time it also went in as the drivers passenger door would not operate from the outside handle.
After the recall was performed, the stop/start function never seemed to shut the engine off, but no warning lights. I dont like the ESS feature, so it saves me having to press the button each time I start, but it should work as should I decide to sell it in the future, new buyer might like it and I dont want to have to pay to undo what this recall did.
Outside door handle was also replaced. When van returned from service, sliding door would not close electrically from any source. Would act like the track was obstructed, and reverse just as the door was about to close. It can be closed manually with no issue. Service department has ordered new door latch awaiting its arrival. Recall was performed about a week ago, probably about 30 or so start cycles since.

Just a thought, but I would be concerned that the smaller auxiliary battery is low (or shot) and draining the main battery. Common issue. If I notice the ESS is not working when I think it should I throw the battery tender on. It then works fine after the charge is done. Some folks who don't like ESS will permanently disconnect the negative lead from the small auxiliary battery.

Thank you for your help! I will look into replacing the handle and latch

Stop! There is a flash update available for the sliding door module to fix this concern. Do not replace any parts. If what's happening is the door is about to close and right as it does it reverses back open, then this update is for you. Ask the dealer to update the power sliding door modules.

As for stop/start - Assuming the batteries are fully charged, the IBS takes 4 hours of engine off time to relearn battery health. I'd suspect your batteries aren't achieving over 85% state of charge.

Alphawolff, do you have any documentation numbers I can provide to the dealer for them to research/implement. While waiting for the door latch to arrive, the door now closes properly from all sources. However, as per the original complaint, the door will not open using the outside door handle, despite a new handle installed.
As far as the stop/start goes, I am wondering if the environmental parameters were adjusted with the recall. It used to shut off the engine in temps as low as minus 15C, but would restart in about 30 seconds, presumably due to cabin heating demands. Now in temps for minus 2 or 3C, it still will not shut off. The point of the small battery being weak is valid, they are Chrysler batteries, about 2.5 years old, probably approaching the end of their service life. Will see what warmer temperatures will bring.

For the sliding door reversing flash update instruct the dealer to lookup TSB 08-008-20. As for the door not opening when you're using the handle, I couldn't tell you. That's a unique concern that needs to be diagnosed at the dealer.

There was multiple PCM updates to help with aux battery health. Having it run at such low temperatures definitely hurts it, so a change in logic wouldn't be out of the ordinary. In temps that low I'd strongly suggest toggling the system off. As I said in another thread, a single service visit to replace that aux battery will most likely cost more then any amount of fuel savings you'd manage to achieve. It's a quick job but the battery is silly expensive for what it is.
