I think we should have a dedicated thread to this issue and keep it in Chrysler's radar.
I think it's a major downside to a remarkable vehicle. We're in MN and I was looking forward to being able to remote start while plugged in.
How do we get enough feedback to Chrysler to get them to work on a software update so that engine does not start while plugged in? Or at least tell us it isn't feasible due to the drivetrain design.
It happened today when it was 65 degrees in the garage with a full battery. I plugged back in to remote start and the engine fired immediately and ran for about 2 minutes before shutting off.
