I wouldn't worry too much. There are shops that refinish wheels with curb rashes..I have the 20" wheels. We've managed to scratch up a couple pretty good against curbs. Can they be refinished or otherwise made good enough to pass the lease return inspection? If so how much would it cost and who would have the equipment needed?
Just search online for "rim or wheel repair near me". I had one repaired on another car and it only cost $80 to fix minor (few rough spots, wheel not cracked or bent) curb rash. Looks brand new, you can't even tell where the damaged spots were.I have the 20" wheels. We've managed to scratch up a couple pretty good against curbs. Ouch. I can't imagine they would hit you that hard on the lease return. I think I would leave as is and take the hit (if any) on the return.Took it to a shop today and the 20 wheels are not painted on the flat polished surface and cannot be touched up. 550 per wheel.
