I put a lot of things on top of my van and I'm finding the stability of the Stow 'N Place rack to be lacking. I worry that the 4 little screws holding the crossbars in place just aren't strong enough (they certainly aren't secure enough as anyone can just remove them).
I am thinking of getting a more secure install like this with installed roof rails for aftermarket (Thule or Yakima) equipment:
The question I have is: should I remove the Stow 'N Place roof rail system? or just leave it in place? What should the roof look like underneath it?
Once a Pacifica has the Stow 'N Place roof rails installed, can they be removed and then the van is left with a clean roof line?
