I just noticed this small spot this morning in the track of the left sliding door. Yes, it is pollen season, but the picture makes it worse than it is. I am curious as to opinions about what to do about this: Take it to dealership and scream 'Its a lemon', do nothing, clean and lubricate...???

It's a Florida problem. Put alligator grease on it. Have you ever seen a rusty alligator?

I'd certainly take it in to the dealer and ask if it might be covered under the 5-year/unlimited miles corrosion warranty. Usually that just pertains to rust-through on body panels, but if nothing else they can provide some advice on how to treat it so it doesn't spread. You might have to treat it every year or so to keep on top of it. Fingers crossed that you won't need to use alligator grease. It can be difficult to come by.
