We seem to be getting conflicting information on this. Here are just a few of the latest:

On 2/6 gopats=5 said "Yes, sales guy looked up on his side and reduced 1000 from his offer price"

On 2/12 oma said "Sams is not towards hybrid, I tried it yesterday and was told no by dealer, called Sams and they stated hybrid is not included."

On 2/13 mcfiddish said "I joined Sam's just for the certificate! The dealer told me the hybrid is explicitly not included."

On 2/16 covphev said "dealers in Southern CT...said they would accept the coupon from Sam's Club."

So it is not universally being accepted. Of course, there are lots of possibilities.
- Some dealers could be "accepting" the coupon not because they know it's good, but because they are willing to sell the vehicle for $1,000 less.
- Some dealers could simply be refusing to accept the coupon without even checking.
- Perhaps the coupon is only good in selected areas, although this seems unlikely.

Based on previous experience when I was a Sam's Club member, I'm not even sure a call to Sam's Club is definitive.

As I'm no longer a member and would have to pay to join Sam's Club (and I'm sure others are in this boat), it would really be nice to have a definitive answer.

I agree that it would be nice to have a definitive answer, but I don't think we're going to get that until orders start arriving and people actually try it at the time of purchase. There's really no risk in joining Sam's right before you make the purchase because you can cancel your Sam's membership for a full refund if you haven't used the rebate.

Well... I used my Sam's rebate code this week (on a Limited). I know that FCA can alter the program at any time.

However, if you look at the certificate, it specifically calls out that SRT vehicles are excluded on Challenger and Charger.

No such wording for anything on the Pacifica. What I see says it should work, as there is nothing else in the fine print that says excluding hybrid models.

Hopefully you will be able to take advantage of the rebate. Best of luck!

I would call your dealer and specifically ask him this question. As generaltso said, the certificate is applied at the time of purchase so the answer may change between now and then but I wouldn't count on it.
I tried this and the dealer responded that they can confirm that the coupon is valid by using the coupon code. Of course, you can't get the coupon code until you join Sam's club and go online to enter your information. And, since the coupon is only good for a limited time (60 days, I think) you don't want to get it until after you know the date your vehicle will be delivered and ready for purchase. Given what I've read in these forums about Chrysler's customer support and missed dates, that means you don't want to do this until the vehicle arrives at the dealership.

I sat down with the dealer earlier this week and he stepped me through entering the certificate code in their system to verify that it wasn't valid for the hybrid.

There's no harm in printing it early if you already have a Sam's membership. If it expires, you can just print another one.

I do tend to be the gambler type, so where some have been successful using the coupon on the hybrid I decided I'd sign up for a Sam's Club membership to see if I'd be successful. Sounds less like a sure bet and more just luck with who you talk to. I hope I talk to the right people when I work out my financing.

Sadly they kind of have us over a barrel. What after I waited 10 weeks for the exact car I want to be built and come in I'm going to walk and find a different dealership to start this over again? Maybe if I had been smart and placed an order from 2 different dealerships to begin with. lol

Still, I look forward to hearing if anyone else has any success or better yet if we could get some definitive word in writing from TrueCar. A month ago, the person I talked to at TrueCar didn't even know a Pacifica Hybrid existed, so they weren't sure if it'd work either.

My offer, this week, said it was good for hybrid on lot, since none are on the lots, this could be the loophole. Yesterday, I did fill out the truecar survey and complained about the dealership not taking the offer and they were the ones who sent me there. I also included the picture of their web response stating what I would get off MSRP. Which did not happen. The dealer did contact me today to see what my concerns were concerning the truecar survey. I have not heard from Truecar, so I think it depends on dealerships and the one they sent me too would not deal.

Does anyone want to post a photo (blur out the code) of the coupon? My dealer said she could check, but she would need to see the offer. I don't want to bother joining Sam's club for $45 if there is no way it will work..

Just ordered a Hybrid Premium, hopefully it moves faster than the Platinums...

My dealer told me he can't say whether the offer would be accepted UNLESS he could see the code.

I didn't even know they were taking orders on the hybrid premium. What are they telling you re: build date & delivery time frame?

The offer specifically says that it excludes leases, so I wouldn't count on it.

I believe we have a definitive answer here. And the answer is that it does NOT apply to the Hybrid.

Any Sam's club member willing to print out the Sam's Club Promo again to see if the Pacifica Hybrid is still excluded in the fine print? Very wishful thinking, but you never know...
I generated the promo again and did not see the Hybrid excluded in the fine print
BUT I proceeded to configure car on Sam Clubs/TRUECar page... for the Hybrid the only discount was a $200 TRUECar discount but the $1000 was not applied.

To see how it would work for the gas version I generated the spec again and this time the $1000 did come off.

So I think that Same Club is NOT working for the Hybrid at this time. (in my region, or for me).
