Hiyas,
I bought my new 2018 PacHy Limited and love it. I put 12,000+ miles on it in the first three months with no bugs or troubles at all.
Two weeks ago the dealership installed the software update for the backup camera recall. Since then I have had several different screens "freeze up" in what is not 8 instances (that I noticed) over 15 days.
When the system "freezes up" it usually impacts several (but not all) screens. The Nav system is almost compromised. I've tried a wide variety of ways to do a soft reboot or a hard reboot to see whether I can clear it from the frozen state. None have worked. I have never been able to get the system to clear up but when left overnight, it is always find the next morning. (That said, the widely varying instructions for doing a"reboot" have probably never actually caused a reboot. I've tried instructions from here, from a dealership, and from the UConnect support line. I've never seen any evidence that I successfully triggered a reboot.)
Anybody else seeing new software issues pop up after getting the recall software update?
