Anyone discovered an elegant way to secure cargo behind the third row? We have an umbrella stroller that would be more convenient to have upright instead of laying down on the floor. I just can't seem to find a way to secure it so it doesn't fall over. Its surprising there are no latches/hooks higher up on the rear side panels. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

I feel your pain. Maybe use a bungee cord of some sort around the head rest then connect to the stroller. That should keep it tight and in place. This should work even if the third row headrests are folded down.

I would appreciate hooks up high as well for a netting type system to keep items from falling out when stack into/above the deep well behind the 3rd row seats.

I recommend velcro straps. or a bungee cord. Remember, this could go airborne if you were in a wreck. Ouch.

It would be inconvenient but keeping one of the outside headrests up all the time, you could bungee your upright stroller to the long headrest support rods. Although for me I like to keep those headrests down when unoccupied, for better visibility. Its nice that Chrysler lets you remotely fold them down.

I ordered the first hooks. They are ok. Not very big. They do fold with the third row seat wel so i dont have to remove. It holds one plastic bag from Target. I have one on the passenger seat and my son hangs his backpack on it. Not a stroller.

I don't know if cargo tie downs are back there but loose cargo can be deadly in a crash. Saab detailed in my 9-3 wagon owner's manual that an unsecured 50 lb cargo at 35 mph will strike your head with an equivalent force of 2200 lb. Lighter cargo of course would have less force but still can do a lot of damage.
