People tend to just post on forums to report issues they're having with their car, or if they're looking for more information before buying. Let's hear from owners who are finally driving theirs around. How do you like the ride? :grin2:

In addition to the back-up camera, I really appreciate the blind spot triangle indicator in the side view mirrors and beep. Great van so far.

My husband has that on his 2013 300 but the blind spot triangles are also triggered by tall grass when we are traveling so the beeps can get really irritating when there's a sleeping kid and it insists you are changing lanes into another car.

Great so far. Smooth, Good pickup. The spare fits in the rear cargo area.

Uconnect is not as good as Myford mobile and my ford mobile is FREE
Myfordmobile has a PC based control in addition to an app.
It also works with Alexa (Echo) so I can say "Alexa, use my ford mobile to start my car"

Chrysler need to up it's game. Maybe the new one with Android auto will be better.

So I've got about 40 miles on it, all electric. The middle seats are awesome, so much more comfortable than the stow and go on my 2014. Now they're covered by car seats, so not sure if it matters.
The Silver Teal looks much better in person, IMO.
This thing has the smoothest acceleration I've ever experienced. I only got the engine to kick on by flooring it at an on-ramp, otherwise, it's never been needed.

The lane keeping is neat, but not annoying.
The adaptive cruise is awesome.
I love the 360 camera when pulling into the garage. No more checking to see if I'm in far enough.

Thanks for sharing! any chance you could have a passenger film how the lane keeping works? or describe it maybe? does it keep you in lane on hwy turns?

The beep can be turned off if desired.:smile2:

I've had my Jazz Blue Pacifica Hybrid since Wednesday, April 26th. Rode most of the wayhome about 38 miles from dealer on electric. One mile on gas. So the Battery indicator when fully charged reads 38 or 39 miles. Didn't have air or heater turned on.

Van does not have homeland buttons to open garage door.
Less storage than Town and Country.
No way to save the electric charge for use when you want it. Plug-in electric runs until gone then hybrid kicks in. So far mileage indicator says 50.2 mpg.

It's a beautiful van. Please that it came with off-white uphostery and 18 inch wheels.
Rides very quite and smooth. I am very happy with it so far.
I did get the life-time warranty for $3300 since I keep cars a long time and since it's a first year release. Just the computer module would cost about $2500 if it goes bad.

The Uconnect app isn't available in Can't-ada...ahem...Canada anyway, so meh. I'm kinda glad to hear it sucks, it means I won't be missing anything! :grin2:

Only driven it home so far. About 20 miles total, all electric with 14 miles left available. It was amazingly smooth and ridiculously quiet. Actually with a little baby I could see how this van could be too quiet for some, as engine noise helps little ones go to sleep. Back seats are comfy, and it has a kickin A/C which I expected. Front seat driving experience is awesome with good sight lines almost all the way around.

Note that you can fold down the third row seat head restraints if no one is back there and that significantly improves the view out the back.

Do you love information? This is your Van, because you can pretty much collect data on almost all aspects of the drive during and after. It's pretty overwhelming at first. There are at least a million ways to customize the readouts on the instrument cluster itself it would seem.

Be advised also that there are TWO manuals, the one for the hybrid and the one you have to look at online for the rest of the features of the ICE only Pacifica.

Enjoy!

Interesting, I've had the blind spot system on my Durango for the past 4 years and I have never had the problem of it falsing for anything. If it goes off there is a car there and it only makes a sound when the car is really close, usually it just lights the triangle. Maybe because it sits up higher than the 300.

I really would love information on when the gas engine kicks on (while battery has charge still).

In my Prius plug-in, turning the AC temp high enough to call for heat kicks on the motor.

It's clear that the Pacifica motor turns on for high acceleration. It's unclear how AC or heater usage kicks it on. I think heater usage kicks it on, and I think i saw somewhere that AC usage might.

That would make a lot of sense since it's higher. We can't go on a road trip without at least once me not changing lanes right away because I don't want the stupid sensor to wake up the kids from the grass.

Got the car yesterday and very impressed. Really smooth and handles quite well... Feels about as responsive as my 2008 Camry even though it's larger and weighs a lot more.

Technology package is pretty crazy. Biggest reason why I didn't buy a sienna or Odyssey last year cause of all the added safety features and driver assistance in the Pacifica.

No buyers remorse at all on this vehicle.

Opted for the 8 yr 125k warranty. Dealer sold it to me for $25 more than Zeigler, felt kinda bad and their service was good so let off on negotiating.

Does his car have a UConnect screen that you can use to turn off the beeps? The Pacifica allows a choice of turning the sound off in the settings menu under safety. Otherwise, a manual might have other steps for removing alerts, chimes, tones, or whatever they are called.

It took me awhile to figure out how to remove the sounds I didn't want since they weren't listed in the index the way I thought they should be. Sometimes they were under things like doors (for liftgate chime, alert), safety, etc.

The blind spot alert will also beep when two lanes of traffic are turning at the same time.

If I had children who fall asleep in the van, I would turn off the tones. It is very easy to remove or add tones in my Pacifica using the 8.4 UConnect touch screen.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!! Beautiful looking car inside and out, currently has no peer. Super quiet but sounds like a silent UFO hovering when you're powering it up and driving it out. Feels incredibly solid on the road and it translates well to the steering. Seamless transition between electric and gas when needed. Tri-pane panoramic sunroof lets in tons of light. Loads of tech features in the menus, but sometimes you have to dig down through the menus. Lots of tech for the kids too. Great driving safety features for cruise control, backing up, self parking (hit or miss success), lane changing and braking. Super sensitive cross path braking too. 360 camera view is really cool. Love the keyless proximity entry and push button start.
Added: 2nd row seats are WAYYYY nicer and more comfortable than the stow and go version. This alone is almost worth it if you do a lot of long distance trips having people sit in the 2nd row.

Downers?
- no power folding mirrors (it's a fat car with the mirrors out)
- no power tilt down mirrors in reverse
- no power 3rd row headrest drop (it's a safety feature if you ask me)
- no homelink built in garage door control control
- rear camera is not well protected and water droplets hang off of the camera frequently, distorting the view making it quite useless then
- kids can't listen to radio/stereo on wireless headsets, or control radio from back
- kick sensor side door and rear hatch reacts slowly to kick, I still use the fob from further away to prep the doors by the time I get to the car
- possibly less than advertised electric range (40km vs 50-55km)
- possible future issues with tearing perforated leather seats or dye transfer from vivid dark coloured clothes

HOWEVER, we still love it and have no regrets!
