I have had my 2017 Pacifica LTD since Sept 1 2016. Since it was new, when you first run it, the AC blows a foul smell into the cabin. Smells like stinky feet. I have never driven it bare footed. The smell is strong and dissipates after a while. Next time I drive it, same thing. Sometimes worse than others. Sometimes worse than ever, like yesterday. I have taken the cabin filter out and it does not smell, I had purchased a new one so I installed it anyway. I Googled it and many other owners have the same issue but I have not seen a resolution to the problem. It's as if condensation sits in the blower mechanism after it has run for a while and turns smelly and then you get a blast of it when you first turn it on again. My air fresheners cannot compete or mask the smell. Any thoughts?

That's interesting: a star case for the '17s AC...

"Just to chime in, there is a Star Case for the 2017 models and relates to the odor smell you're referring to. If you'd like to work with the dealership, feel free to send us a direct message and reference this message. We'd be glad to get this process started.

Hello MesaMark,

We understand why this odor is concerning and welcome the opportunity to discuss this if you want to work with the dealership. We're available via direct message and will need your VIN to get started.
