Anyone had issues with already having to replace their struts on the minivan? I do live on gravel but it’s making knocking noises when the wheel is turned in either direction. Just a little over warranty of course ?

Hi Gardna,

We are sorry to hear this. If you need additional assistance while your Pacifica is in service for struts, please send us a PM.

Most of the time "creaking sounds" are caused by sway bar bushings unless it is when turning. Normally the creaking gets worst in the summer when they expand with heat.

Just to add another data point here. 2018 PacHy. Started to have some occasional creaking noises at low speed (e.g., when backing into/out of a parking space with wheel turned), and sometimes when accelerating from a standstill around year 2 / 20k miles. Recently, at 30k, as it was still under warranty (and approaching the 3 year point) and the noises were becoming more prominent, brought to dealer and after their inspection & road test, they replaced the front struts, lower control arms, strut bearings, and strut mounts. So far so good.

I have a 2018 Pacifica and have had the cv joint and left strut replaced at 24000 miles now less than a year with 28600 miles it is making the same clicking noise as before. Anyone else having front end problems with their Pacifica? It has been in the shop 6 times since I bought it new in Oct 2018.

My Pacifica will be having the left front strut replaced for the 2nd time whenever the part arrives, 32000 miles. I believe the tech said there is water getting into the strut. I think it goes down the windshield and water drops right on the strut. Is there a fix to divert the water elsewhere?

Hi Twelch. Was there ever a final resolution for this issue?
I have a 2017 with almost 50,000 miles... I started hearing a loud popping sound when slowly backing-up while turning wheels to the left and then straight... just dropped off at dealer and they said it's the strut on the driver's side, but will take 1 to 2 weeks for parts.

Hi. Just checking to see if still "so far so good" with the fix for this issue?
