Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W-20 SN Motor Oil ...at Walmart retail is $52.37 for 5 quarts.
and the Platinum is only $22.68 5 quarts. That's less than half the price.
I believe both are MS-6395.
I called the closest dealer they said they use Pennzoil Synthetic, did not say which one Ultra Platinum or just Ultra.
Pennzoil of course says use Ultra Platinum.
I assume they buy bulk Platinum and not the ultra otherwise it would be over $100.00 for an oil change.

The filter at the dealer is probably mopar standard, however iv'e found that wix and Fran make a synthetic filter
FRAM Ultra Synthetic Oil Filter, XG1166 at $11.97 (walmart), which they recommend for Full synthetic at their website as does Wix WL10010XP at about $14.00.

I'm sure both are better than the Standard Mopar or Fran. The Fran XG1166 is the 3 best filter from their standard.

Rebate here at Pennzoil
$10 for 5 quart and $2 for 1 quart bottle rebate at Pennzoil here

Just called my dealer and the first oil change free! And they use Mobil one.
Any advice or comments?

Interesting that the dealer wants to use an oil that isn't approved for an oil change. I'd say as long as you go with a MS-6395 spec'd oil you've done your due diligence. I think $53.00 for 5 quarts of oil is insane. They both meet the spec so at that point it's whatever your wallet and good conscience can handle. I personally disagree about the filter and stick with the Mopar branded one for warranty purposes but I have no proof one way or another if you'd be denied a warranty claim for having a non Mopar filter on your vehicle if a warranty issue arises. The most difficult decision you should have is whether your Pacifica needs 5 or 6 quarts.:grin2:
