Mine shows incomplete, I wonder what that means? The recall is shown but, as incomplete.

It will show incomplete until you have the update done.

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) on about 415,000 of the above vehicles has software that may be operating the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve (EGR) with an aggressive seating velocity. An aggressive seating velocity may damage the EGR valve. As a result this condition may illuminate the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) and display a P0404 code.

Just had the T23 Recall done on my Touring this morning. The repair order also shows a "program powertrain controller" in addition to the T23 recall. Not sure if it's just my imagination or not but there is a very noticable improvement in engine and transmission operation after this update.

I have had the recall performed. Whatever it accomplished is a mystery to me. Three days later, after 17 days in the shop for the car mysteriously shutting off while driving, the check engine light is back on and my brand new transmission is exactly as poor as my previous transmission.

Thanks for the update, could you please explain a little bit more about "very noticable improvement in engine and transmission operation after this update" I'm interested in what differences you feel after the update?

Thanks,
Ed

Mainly engine accelerates smoother and transmission shifting seems to be more fluid, smoother, and quicker to downshift when needed.

During a call today I was informed that the dealership who claimed they did the recall did not actually do the recall fix/upload. So I was lied to. All to get my loaner back because they promised it to someone else.

My performance issues are now more understandable, because the car is still useless and dangerous.

Got mine done on Monday. Four days later (today, Friday) entered VIN number on the website supplied above and status still shows incomplete. Runs the same as before.

Same thing happened to me! Take it back IMMEDIATELY, as it was not done.

My guess is that they did an older recall. My car was already in the shop when I got the email, I told them to do the recall fix, they marked it complete and didnt do it. Fun times.

Haha. @tylerlang I thought of your previous post when I noticed this. I'll take it back in and get an explanation.

Van shifting smoother and possibly better city gas mpg (might be too soon to tell) after a TCM software update TSB 21-027-17 (now 68277374AD) and T23 EGR Valve Function Recall Check (now 68340761AC) done on Tuesday. Website showed recall marked as complete when I checked today.:smile2:

Thanks! I'll let you know. My oldest son needed you guys to resolve an issue he had with same dealer on a recall he couldn't get performed after several attempts over many months and I became a huge fan of Chrysler Social Care after seeing the dealer change how they treated him before and after you guys got involved. I believe you guys do have some "pull" and would not hesitate to PM you if issues were to come up. Thank you for your post, Kori.
