I took my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Limited in for the 2 safety recalls, oil change and a few issues (rear sunroof cover rattling when car is not warmed up) and including my transmission shifting very hard at low speeds. Sometime I would wonder if someone hit us from behind due to the hard shifting it does into a gear.

I took it in on 11/14/18 and I still have not received it back. They said transmission takes 3-5 days to diagnose and fix..

They told me they are waiting on a part last week and now they will have it on Tuesday 11/27. I know last week was Thanksgiving but still is it kinda long for service?

If I do not get it back by 11/27 can Chrysler Cares contact me for some help?

With MY dealer? Yeah, that sounds normal!
Seriously though, I would ask for some intervention. The least you'll get out of it would be a phone call. My guess is you might be getting some mounts replaced. I've heard that's a "fix" for the hard shifting, but we have been experiencing it too for 80k miles, and I have come not to believe in Chrysler fixes. This for a company that thinks Loctite is a fix for creaking axles!

Often I believe the problems come from the dealership rather than Chrysler. If you're close enough you may try Scott Robinson Chrysler in Torrance next time. I've been satisfied there in the past when traveling through southern CA.
