So I got in my van to go get dinner yesterday & I had my phone connected via CarPlay and the time was showing correct on the CarPlay display screen.

I left the car and came back, but wasn't hooked up via CarPlay anymore, & then the time was showing an hour behind on the radio (it didn't update for daylight savings).

So I go to set it manually and it was showing the date as 5/22/2022 still, and I had to change that AND the time manually.....instead of having "update automatically via GPS" selected.

Anyone else have this issue?

Is the option there to update via GPS? What happens if you check that?
It was (originally) selected as update via GPS and the time never changed/updated, so then I manually set it.
I reverted back to update via GPS, to see if it'd change after that, and it was still showing/reverting back to the 5/22/2022 date & wrong time.
So it's just manually set at the moment, to be correct.

D'oh! 🤦‍♂️ I thought it was for a different issue, but I had this happen last year too & forgot lol. 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️

So for anyone else having it.....you need to connect to WiFi and select update via GPS and somehow that resolves it... @a.strick pointed it out for me:

I have no doubt that there is something screwy going on with that time set function. Maybe memory overlap in the uconnect programming, or the time update algorithm or ...???.
My experience last week in our 2018 hybrid limited:
In January 2023, I had a 12v battery failure that resulted in my clock being off by about 2 to 3 hours. I ignored it until Wednesday of last week when I went to reset it. While in settings, I found the box for "update automatically via GPS" and checked it. There was no response after starting and stopping the car several times as well as reconnecting to different phones and the time remained incorrect and not updated. So I decided to set it manually, unchecked the automatic update box and input the new time setting. I don't remember if I went back and reset the auto update box once or twice or not. But after doing this, there was a jump in the menus display to a different part of that settings screen and the speaker sound on all speakers and from all sources (radio, SiriusXM, phone calls...) instantly became louder and very distorted. Very mystifying, o_O. No amount of manipulation of the vehicle, sound system, audio settings, sources, turning the car off and back on would change the degraded audio (very distorted as if a blown amplifier). I called my wife out to listen to it since she is driving and using it much more than I do. We were both convinced that it was something blown out in the radio (probably amplifier). So we sighed and left it that evening. The next day, all was well and the sound was back up to par. No explanation. The time is correct and the box for automatic GPS update is not checked.
The common thread between my problem and yours is that we both set and reset the way the clock was to be updated, me perhaps because of my impatience. I think it also reverted back to the incorrect time at some point during the process as well. I'm just glad the sound quality returned automatically overnight to its beautiful richness that we have always loved... and the time is still correct.
