Am getting winter tires ready to install on new steel rims for my 2022 Pacifica Ltd hybrid. Have a set of monitors for the winter tires and am wondering whether my Pacifica will read these 315Mghz as they are not OEM monitors. If they are guaranteed not to work I will not even attempt and I will just go without. Don't want to create problems. The light on the dash doesn't really bother me because it will disappear in spring when the other tires go back on.

I'm have the same dilemma. I recently bought some wheels from a 2008 Pacifica (7.5j x17, ET51) and am just waiting for the Hakkapeliitas R5's (235/65R17) to show up. TPMs serve two purposes; to potentially save fuel by reminding people to properly maintain air pressure and to serve as a warning if you lose air in a run-flat tire.

For me, I don't need the reminder as I check pressure regularly and these tires aren't run-flats. Still, I have to decide if spending another $120 or so on OEM TPMs (generic brands are less but need programming) is worth the price just to keep the light on the dash off. (I'll probably do it)

Please don't write to tell me I'm wrong. I've spent days trying to figure this out and have already spent the money. I'm going to have to live with this setup for years to come.
