So my little girl, bless her heart, was being helpful and closed the driver door. Problem was, my hand was wrapped around the B-pillar of the car as I leaned into the sliding door to get something off the floor. My hand was slammed in the door, and my tungsten ring left a small dent and a gouged out a chunk of paint down to the metal on the B pillar.

Is there a source of touch-up paint for bright white? Do third parties sell it or is it a dealer item?

It's a small spot, but I don't want corrosion making a dark or rusty spot there in the future.

Well, at least your ring probably prevented injury to your finger!

I got touch up paint directly from the dealer. They didn't have it in stock, but were able to order it in a day. I think it was around $15.

I had a stroller fall on my tusk white paint (bumper) when the hatch opened up. Any updates on touch up paints?

The spot was naturally on the outside of the top part of the bumper or... where the 3m sheet does note cover.

That's expensive... but looks good. I can't tell... does it come with a clear coat applicator?
I don't think so, but I really don't recall. If it did, I've misplaced that part of the kit
Yes, it's expensive, but I had a deep 2" scratch and I didn't want to use the dealer supplied stuff. My experience with those little tubes with a paint brush in the cap has been that they dry so fast they just turn into a blob, and you just can't apply a decent line of paint. This Dr Chip stuff matched my paint well and flowed into the scratch, filling it without making a blob. Not perfect, but a lot better than any other system I've tried.
