Tpms reset?

1397 Views 3 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  thclimer
Took a wheel off last week to check brake pads.
Put it back after 10 Min.
3 wheels now read 39psi and one...that one...reads 60...
Is there not a button somewhere I can push like on honda CRV to reset?

It will self correct itself , there is no tpm learning . The sensor will and should self adjust . I have been swapping out summer tires and rims with my winter set of tires and rims and it self adjusts . Your 17 could be a bad tpm sensor battery as your at the 5 year threshold .

Just drive it, it'll figure itself out within a few miles.

We use snow tires without sensors and I'm always so surprised at how quickly the sensors in the all season tires are detected when I put them back on in the spring which maybe this week for us.

Other car manufactures could sure benefit from the system which our Pacifica's have as it is so simple and convenient for the owner. I have experience with other manufactures that can be reset with a handheld tool which you can buy for about $40-50. Then there are others which can only be reset with the manufactures computer software which is so ridiculous.
