The ones I have seen on the lot do not look/appear to be metallic.
Where have you seen them on the lots? Only 7 have been produced and 1 of them is still at the Windsor plant while 4 are in transit and the other 2 are on lots.

i went to the lot again to make sure I wasn't crazy and sure enough I'm crazy. :(

The color on the lot that I saw was molten silver. They have 2 of them. Sorry. Wrong color.
It is a low production number, kinda why I wanted that color....

It is metallic. We are actually on a trip to the Northeast, but we stopped by a dealer in Roma, NY to have a look at a Limited in that color. My wife and I liked the color combo with the mocha interior. Will likely order one when we get home provided the test drive goes well...

I took delivery of what was probably the first Tusk White sold (been on order for 4 mos) on Tues night after it arrived at dealer on Tues as well.
It is a very subtle metal flake. The color is quite "enchanting" being more similar to a warm very very pale gray than a cream. Reminds me of a 1964 paint color, but it's great because it keeps the Pacifica from having what I personally don't like, "white van" look. We wanted a very light color to keep the van cooler in the hot weather for our dog, but pure white wasn't doing it for us. Just personal opinion.

Not so great news: went back to dealer next day (yesterday); Park Assist doesn't work in either mode. What a disappointment. I don't think they have any idea on how to work on the proble. I hope they are on the phone today with Chrysler Tech assistance to figure this out.

Tusk white is a pearl paint, not metallic. Metallic paints have little bits of aluminum in them that gives them a metallic sheen. Pearl paints have mica in them to give them a different sort of luster, like that of a pearl (hence the name).

Yeah, me too. I've had mine a month and a half and I just got around to trying to let it perpendicular park yesterday. I tried it several times paying very close attention to the instructions in the DID and each time it wants to hit the car on the driver's side with an overlap of about 2 1/2 feet! It isn't even in the ball park of trying to center itself between the two vehicles. My back bumper is a foot away from striking the bumper of the next car and I end up braking before my van tells me to. I could be completely blind folded and back into a spot better than this so I can only assume my van actually IS blind on one side without throwing any warning codes, etc..

I ordered the Tusk White Limited, to be built 9/6 and everyone that I have spoken with (my contact with Chrysler) state it has metal flake in it, that it is metallic....even today I called that Chrysler dealer in Rome New York about the 1 of 7 Tusk White Pacificas built and he even said it was like a cream and metallic.......so I am utterly confused!!!! I do not like gray colors and didn't want another bright white and this Tusk white is to be a low production, again, I was told......Well here are pics of the one in Rome, New York at Victory CDJR....I wish I had mine or I could see one in person as to what the heck this TUSK WHITE IS!!!!!

It is, in a word I usually don't use, "lovely." It's one of those colors that defies categorizing. You will like it if you like subtle. It's not white, not gray, not light taupe, not tan. Its OFF WHITE (whatever that means).

The difficulty in representing a color like this, even in photos, is that everyone 's eyes are slightly different and I believe it's a compound color, meaning that several different pigments are mixed with white (the white is probably titanium dioxide) to make it. Burnt umber, yellow, green and black would be my guesses.

I'd like to see a Chrysler rep chime in on this and tell us more......

Where did you see that this was going to be a "low production" color? Are there any other low production colors? Where do you find out that only 7 of a color have been made?

This is the exact van that my wife and I saw. The color really is fantastic. You will be happy. We'll see how the test drive goes, and hopefully order one when we get back from vacay.

What I was told was that it unless the market calls for it, is not going to be one of the higher production colors like bright white etc. So, I didn't mean it to sound like only 500 would be made like it was a limited number or anything like that.
