Fiat Chrysler Canada is expanding their 2017 Pacifica lineup to include the more affordable LX and Touring models. Both were previously only offered in America, but now those of you on the other side of the border will be able to get your hands on one along with the Touring-L, Touring-L Plus and Limited versions.

“As part of our launch roll-out, which began in February 2016, we’re now able to expand Pacifica’s offerings and bring even more value to Canadian shoppers,” said Reid Bigland, president and CEO, FCA Canada. “Our minivans have been bestsellers since FCA created the segment more than 30 years ago, and with the unmatched new features and technology Pacifica provides, these additional models are another win for Canadian families.”

Starting at $37,995, the 2017 Pacifica LX will be powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar VVT V6 engine that’s paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. It may be an entry-level model, but the LX will come with a lot of standard features including active noise cancellation, tinted glass, keyless entry and go, second and third row Stow n Go seating, cruise control, tri-zone A/C, and a Uconnect infotainment system with a 5" touchscreen.

Priced from $39,995 MSRP, the Touring trim will add 17-inch alloy wheels, dual power sliding doors, proximity entry for all doors, Stow 'n Place roof rack system, power driver’s seat, power lift gate, automatic headlights, interior door handle LED lamps, Sirius XM Satellite radio with a one year subscription and a Stow n Go driver’s seat.

On top of the standard features, Chrysler is offering additional options including 8-passenger seating, ParkView Rear Back-Up Camera, KeySense programmable key fob, Trailer Tow group, the SafetyTec group, and the Uconnect 8.4 Multimedia Centre.

Both the 2017 Pacifica LX and Touring should now be available for order at your local FCA dealership even though they're not yet available for online configuration.
