Got this message on Uconnect screen "Uconnect Box Requires service. Please visit an authorized dealer".
I scheduled a service appointment, but next available isn't for 3 weeks.

Things I noticed that may be related:
  • vehicle mileage on Mopar site and Uconnect app stopped updating months ago.
  • I get a data error when I try to get the vehicle health report online
  • Oil line on app and mopar website does not update - stuck at 49%.
  • tire pressure does not update online or app.

My first year trial subscription of SiriusXM Guardian is still active, so that should provide connectivity.

Anyone had a similar problem?

I too am receiving this message on my 2021 Pacifica Hybrid. I've tried resetting the Uconnect and request software updates, but problem persists. Message will pop multiple times on one trip and no times on another. Seemingly random.

I also got the message on my 2021 Pacifica (not a hybrid)that "Uconnect Box requires service"
Has ther been any solution? The last post was May 2021 and its now 10/16/2021.

I have recently (past 3 weeks) received the "Uconnect Box requires service" message on my 2022 Hybrid Pacifica.
Is there an update on a solution?
Seems like this issue has been going on for some people for almost a year.

As an update to my specific situation, I took this to the dealer a 2nd time (because of a different, unrelated issue) and the service tech saw the UConnect Box error message and said he knew how to diagnose it. The service manager allowed him to do so and they found the Telemetry module was bad in the van. I had to wait 2 weeks for the replacement module to come in and had to take the van to the dealer a 3rd time for this issue, but replacing the module fixed the error code and the UConnect app is now synching with the van again.
