On the screen the NAV highlights all main roads with a blueish color. When in guidance mode the route is highlighted adding a turquoise color which surimposes on the blueish color. This turquoise color is not different enough to see which road is highlighted for guidance and which road is a main road. I would prefer a stronger, bolder color that does not get mixed up with existing main roads. Is there a way to remove the existing main roads color or a way to change the color of the guided route ? Thanks.

Go to your navigation home screen and hit Settings then Map Setup then Map Appearance. There you can choose from a few different map styles from the FCA family. I'm actually quite disappointed in the different options as the only thing that seems to really change is the route line color (at least in 2D mode).

I changed mine from the default Chrysler map since the route line color was too similar to the "no traffic" line color when displaying traffic.

To make things worse, when there is traffic, the traffic icon is not shown for which side of the road the traffic is actually on. There should be an arrow with the symbol, that shows the direction of the bad traffic.

My system is the 8.4 with navigation and I have a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. I am very disappointed in the appearance of the map. It is almost in black and white. there is no detail other than street names and speed limits. in all of the adds and videos I see online, the maps are in full color and have a lot more detail. What am I missing??

I've tried all of the available FCA nav screen formats on my 2017 Limited and, in my mind, the Fiat one is the best. If you folks try that one I think you will be pleased since it actually has a few different colors instead of just varying shades of blue.
