Is this supposed to go off when the car goes off? I thought it would, but we bought the car yesterday and we're noticing it is still on even when we turn the car off and leave. Very strange. are we doing something wrong?

Yes the screen turns off. I believe you can set how long it takes to turn off in the settings.

The screen should turn off when you turn off the car and open one of the front doors. It definitely shouldn't be staying on.

I checked today and you are right. The screen turns off as soon as I open the door (if the car is off). I was wrong in my original post, it's the screen behind the steering wheel that isn't turning off. Is that normal??

It's normal to stay on for a bit, but it should turn off eventually.

Screen will turn off once you open the door. the timing can also be adjusted with the Settings->Engine Off setting.
