I've posted this earlier about UConnect activation when pressing Assist button or from the UConnect Screen on dashboard is not working. I opened up ticket with Chrysler and after 3 days of back and forth the answer was to get it in to dealer to get it fixed. Now the issue number 2 have started looks like as of today morning. The Sirius XM radio seems to be behaving odd, All my preset XM stations goes off from the menu and it is reverted back to as if it is all default and from time to time Radio gets into XM preview mode and displays message of Updating Sirius XM Subscription.
I'm not sure what is going on here, we got our Pacifica Touring L plus last weekend and it seems to be bit iffy with regards to the Uconnect and radio on it.
One of my friend just bought Jeep and it also comes with same UConnect system, as per him he had to wait 2 weeks before activating UConnect system on his Jeep, he got email after 2 weeks stating his UConnect is ready for activation. Anyone else seen similar issue with their Pacifica ?

Isn't it up to the dealer to submit your UConnect info to Chrysler? Maybe the dealer dropped the ball.

SiriusXM 1 year subscription and the UConnect activation was all done by my dealership.

Thanks, let me clarify this now. When you say it was all done by your dealership - does it mean that when car was delivered to you, prior to it this things were already done for you ? Or salesperson did it for you as part of delivery and demo process of the vehicle ?

In our case when we got the car, Sirius XM was already ON and we asked salesperson and he said its all good for one year. So we assumed dealership already did those things. We didnt check the UConnect at that time.

SXM seems to be back to normal, but UConnect Access is not working. Let me ask you this, what is step for UConnect Access in terms of activation. Is it needed to be done by dealer when I purchase vehicle ? or Do I get email to activate my UConnect Access from Chrysler when it is provisioned in your system ? When I press Assist button, nothing is happening on the UConnect Screen, and there is not UConnect Activation icon under the UConnect Apps.

Customers are able to activate the services themselves, I'm sorry to hear about your ongoing concerns. You can contact our Uconnect Support Team at 1-877-855-8400 to open a case so they can investigate this further for you. They will be best able to assist you and investigate why you haven't been able to activate. Feel free to PM our page with any additional questions!
