I just noticed this on the Chrysler website. I didn't realize there was something you can do with Android and Uconnect Theater that you can't do with an Apple device. Does anyone know what that functionality is? What does "sync up" mean? They show a picture of an Android tablet being mirrored to a Uconnect screen. I don't see any wires, but they may be strategically hidden. This is actually in the hybrid section of the site, so maybe they've changed something with Uconnect Theater in the hybrid?

The available Uconnect® Theater (not compatible with Apple® devices) features a dual-screen Entertainment System packed with built-in games and apps. Or, sync up your compatible devices for instant fun.

I am looking into this too to see where / how Android would stream or work with the Uconnect screens. As mentioned very briefly in this video (@34 seconds into the video)..
there is some compatibility for sure.

UPDATE: Can users connect smartphones or laptops to Uconnect® Theater+ to surf the Internet or stream video from services like YouTube and Netflix?
Yes. Many smartphones, tablets and laptops can be connected directly through the available HDMI or USB ports+. However, the device will likely require additional adaptors and cables to connect to the system and display content. FCA recommends that users research options with their laptop/device manufacturer to confirm compatibility. The device will require an Internet connection to access online content, so unless there is a Wi-Fi Hotspot available, users will have to rely on their existing data plans.

Well, HDMI will work for anything that has an HDMI out (or HDMI adapter). But if that's all they were talking about, they wouldn't have added the disclaimer that it's not compatible with Apple devices. If you plug an Android device into the Blu-ray player's USB port, can you play movies from it? I know you can't with an Apple device, so maybe that's what they're talking about?
