The MY are a bit off in the linked article, but if you look at the actual NHTSA investigation message (which is linked inside the above article) it states it's for MY 2019 - 2021 Pacifica Hybrid

The description of the NHTSA investigation only shows the 2019 through 2021 Pacifica Hybrid vehicles.

But I see now that if you reveal the drop down of affected products it does mention the Non-hybrid Pacifica as well.

We had some stalling issues in our 2018 non-hybrid. Dealer could never recreate the issue or figure it out.

Well obviously 17-18 complaints didn’t warrant any concerns , what’s even concerning is that builds of 17-18 were probably in higher batch numbers for both ice and ehybrid . But if 19-21 models are the only years being flagged , those numbers should be low in sales volume , esp ehybrid . My guess is that because the numbers are extremely low that just resonates a greater percentile of occurrences. Risk management , built into the business case as well as the cost of the vehicle , gotta love current day manufacturing ideologies . Build it , sell it and we’ll worry about it down the road …. Lol

Well at least it is getting noticed so thanks to everyone who has submitted those reports. I feel on edge anytime I am taking a long road trip that I am going to get stranded and always have in the back of my mind what to do if the van shuts off on the freeway.
