I'm looking for a family van mostly for city driving but also the odd weekend camping trip here and there. The Pacifica plug-in hybrid may be just what the doctor's ordered because there are days where I don't travel more than 30 miles so the gas can remain untouched and saved for days where my commute is longer.

Going to wait for reviews and see if there's anything else out there before puling the trigger.

This should hopefully be comfortable to drive around in the city, absorbing bumps and imperfections in the road. Are you concerned about ride quality in the typical city?
