Well it happend. One of our keysence fobs made it into our clothes washing machine. As soon as I found it, I threw it into a bag of rice.. I then carried the bag into my garage and sure enough keysence was still working. At this point I'm just leaving it in the rice to pull as much moisture out as possible. Has anyone else tested the waterproofness of these keyfobs yet?
Wow, Im surprised it still worked. I am betting you have a front load washer so there is no "soaking" or "sitting" in water like the old top loaders. Be thankful it still works. I wonder how much it would be for a replacement.
If it is really $300 or so for a new fob then it may make sense to order the key sense so you have a 3rd fob from the start. Key sense gets you another fob for much cheaper than having to get one later.
