Just wondering what you guys use when waxing your car and leather conditioner, rain x etc...

I use Optima on all my car i've used it for over 3 years now and its very easy to apply it does not leave that white stuff on plastic or black trims and can be applied on any surface, plastic, glass chrome etc.. and very easy to put on and take off, my old toyota sienna i can wax the whole car in less than 10 minutes

for leather conditioner i use Meguiars, not sure if there is any better out there

I also use rain x for windshield

what do you guys use, maybe yours is better

Any suggestions for a black leather steering wheel conditioner?
I've noticed a few scratches on the leather steering wheel and wondered if it was drying out and I needed to put something on it.

From the manual I see this good advice:

Use of Rain-X or products containing wax or silicone may reduce rain sensor performance.

I infer from that that Rain-X or similar causes the water to blow off the sensor part of the front windshield glass rendering the rain sensing wipers less than effective. My process is to avoid Rain-X on the area of the windshield where the sensor is.

Have had good luck maintaining leather with Leatherique products. Available on Amazon and e-Bay.

Lexol for leather for me. For exterior, I usually just use a drive through car wash (Mr. Carwash on Kirby for H-towners) but when I do hand wash, I'm going with ceramic, the price has really come down, the Meguires is less than $20!

I've been looking for good products lately and came across this. Some of the most popular YouTube detailers have been amazed after testing this. It can be used on anything from the body to the tires to the inside and even glass according to what they have said. I want to try this out and I will be following this thread to see what others use.

They do show the water beading up on this video. It's just longer so I posted the shorter one. This video shows it really well though.

I wonder what chemical brew THAT uses, and how long we'll have to live after we later find out it was toxic all along... :)
