I just bought a gorgeous “like-new” looking 2017 Limited model with 57,000 miles. On the second day of ownership I notice a sharp jolt from the transmission during mild acceleration at around 30 to 45 mph. I have read other posts about this. Had a fix been found? Thx

Good luck. No fix exists. Thats probably why it was traded. I'm doing battle with Chrysler on this right now on our '17 limited, and since it is an intermittent issue I'm getting nowhere. I'm at 54k now. Probably dump it before 60k powertrain warranty is up if I cannot get any help. Chrysler dealer network is a joke. I can tell you that several folks have had valve bodies and or complete transmissions replaced. Only one guy here seems to have gotten any lasting results. I can GAURANTEE you lots of frustration at the dealership, followed by "unable to duplicate" and "reset shift adaptations". The reset will soften it up for a time, but it'll be back soon enough. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Chrysler doesn't seem to care.

There are many transmission threads. The temporary solution seems to be resetting transmission adaptations which lasted about 10,000-15,000 miles before needing done again. The last time (at 44,000 miles) the dealer tried a fix where the clutch pack timings were adjusted (which was a longer process to complete) and has lasted for more than 12,000 miles so far. I don't know if this is a permanent fix, but you should probably have a dealer try to do something before the 60,000 mile powertrain warranty is over. Take print outs from the forum with you to see if they will do something without having to recreate the issue.

I edited the number of miles of last fix from 12,000 to 9,000 miles so far since I noticed the odometer this morning. Evidently there is a limit of times to edit posts in a certain time period. So we will see if this latest fix works longer that previous fixes.
